Students access internet-based course content in Canvas, as well as interactive chat rooms, via Adobe Connect. Please review the Adobe Connect meeting information below to make using Adobe Connect simple and powerful. To make the best use of this media, please use a USB headset with a boom mike for optimum results. The use of laptop or pc speakers and built in microphone will cause feedback and no one will be able to use the room correctly.
LOGIN NOTE:
All Students, TAs, and Presenters MUST login to Adobe Connect as a GUEST; Please use full first and last name. Only the Instructor will have a user name and password. Note: Please always mute mike, unless you are speaking. The microphone headset is really the most important of the equipment needed for Adobe Connect, since it will allow you to talk to fellow students, ask questions, etc. You must however run the Audio Setup Wizard immediately upon entering the Adobe Connect meeting, EVERY TIME YOU ATTEND A MEETING. Adobe has announced the next major release of Adobe Connect. Version 9 brings with it a number of exciting new features - particularly around events. Take a moment to check out some of the new tutorials and resources available for Adobe Connect 9 and stay tuned for more updates.
Cancel and restart. If you have stuck downloads in the Mac App Store or updates that won't start. If you're positive that the Mac isn't still working on updating your software then run through the following steps: 1. Shut down, wait a few seconds, then restart your Mac Press and hold the power. Open Software Update preferences for me. To automatically install macOS updates, select 'Automatically keep my Mac up to date.' To set advanced update options, click Advanced, then do any of the following: To have your Mac check for updates automatically, select 'Check for updates.' To have your Mac download updates without asking, select 'Download new updates when available.'. HelloCustomer Lets try deleting your software update preference file. Click on the picture of a face all the way on the left-hand side of your dock. This will bring up your home folder. Go into a folder called Library and then another folder called Preferences. Delete the file called com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist Try software update again. My mac won't download software updates on itunes. If there's not enough space to update. If there isn't enough space to download and install an update.

If you're interested in learning how to use Adobe Creative Suite 6 but aren't sure where to start, take advantage of the many Lynda.com tutorials available free for students, faculty, and staff. Log in with your GatorLink account and enjoy 24/7 access to nearly 3,000 video courses on everything from video editing in Adobe Premiere to creative quick tips in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Students can also access Adobe iPad apps, such as the newly released Adobe Voice, through Library West's iPad loaner program. Adobe Voice is an easy-to-use video creation program that lets users record their voice and choose pre-made icons or personal photos to tell a story.
